Make It, Taste It, Love It! Discovering Korea's Kimchi-Making Tradition

Things got a little messy, a lot delicious, and definitely fun at New Jersey Korean School! 🥬❤️

Our students rolled up their sleeves for Kimjang, the traditional Korean practice of making and sharing kimchi. From learning about the ingredients to getting hands-on with the kimchi-making process, students experienced a delicious piece of Korean culture firsthand. And of course, the best part? Getting to taste what they made! 😋 But Kimjang is about more than just food. It's a tradition that brings families and communities together through sharing, teamwork, and care.

A little seasoning, a lot of teamwork, and memories to last!
